Thanks guy's for your help. But the real problem is that I left my Ubuntu Lucid CD with a friend. I have now Ubuntu 10.10 and 9.10, and my laptop is an ADVENT 4213 Netbook, it has no CD/DVD drive, and both versions I have now cause me troubles : they stop at a time and there is the following error : "... a CD/DVD input/output error ...". But it's the first time that happens tome, before tis I used to boot perfectly from an USB key without any problem. But this time I borrowed an IDE/USB adapter to boot from a CD/DVD drive as an external one, and also the same problem. That's exactly why I've chosen to install Lubuntu, then install ubuntu-desktop package, and finally remove the lubuntu-desktop one ... There's no problem now with Ubuntu Maverick, but just a little one with some lubuntu apps that still be installed.
Thanks.
