Hi folks, Well UBT does no longer happen. We had the open week and it was a shame UBT did not hold a session, but, such is life.
What would be useful is if you good people could run one / two sessions on the introduction to using the terminal. Session one would be cd / ls / mkdir etc. The second one is a little more involved as I ask you give an introduction to apt-get ..... , we all know it is important and we all use it without really thinking. Can you have a think and allocate some people to hold classroom sessions on both? It would help us at QA / Testing as we have held in Raring. and are committed to these classroom sessions in Saucy [1] if people had a basic understanding of terminal / sudo / apt-get. Thanks, Phill. 1. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/Activities/Classroom/ -- https://wiki.ubuntu.com/phillw
