Any ideas?
For helping you, we need the following information:
- Did you installed Battle for Wesnoth from the Ubuntu Software Center
or from somewhere else?
- Does the problem get fixed if, in the "Terminal" application, you
enter the following line?:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install wesnoth -y && sudo apt-get
purge wesnoth -y && sudo apt-get autoremove -y
Regards.
Even after this - don't expect to have lost the files that wesnoth will
have left in your /home/user/ area - those will remain until you remove
them.
