Maybe you can also help SRU-ing fixed bugs to the previous LTS release (for example usb-creator-gtk 0.3.2 from Xenial to Trusty by raising the priority).
I have checked that some priorities for the USB Creator where set to "medium" where it should be "high".
If fixing a bug makes an application in the main repository workable, it should have a priority of "high". If you see somebody setting something different, please ask them to change that!
