Given that line 24 of main.cf has "failed minimal_backoff_time = 1000s", I'm going to assert that it's not the default config, since nothing in the default install actually even tries to set minimal_backoff_time, and certainly not with "failed<space>" in front of it.
Invalid preexisting configuration, I expect that postfix wasn't even starting before the upgrade. ** Changed in: postfix (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => LaMont Jones (lamont) Status: Incomplete => Invalid -- package update-manager 1:0.93.32 failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: SystemError in cache.commit(): E:Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/290443 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to postfix in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
