This repository has been deprecated two years ago, when swift was added to the Ubuntu "main" repository. It was deleted a few days ago.
If you have Swift installed on 12.04, the packages probably come from the main repository, so you don't need the PPA at all (yes, the doc needs to be updated). You can remove the PPA by running: sudo add-apt-repository -r ppa:swift-core/release Hope this helps, ** Changed in: swift (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to swift in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1233042 Title: swift-core repository failed to fetch To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/swift/+bug/1233042/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
