Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.

This doesn't reproduce on a default installation, since
/var/lib/sss/pipes/nss is provided (I believe) by sssd, which is in
universe and not installed by default.

However, /etc/apparmor.d/abstractions/nameservice includes references to
/var/lib/sss. Does this need to be amended?

In any case, I think this needs to be fixed in either sssd or apparmor,
since ntp simply tries to use NSS, as might any other NSS consumer that
would be caught by this.
