Public bug reported: When hitting Ctrl-a A (ctrl-a shift-a) to rename the window, if I enter a name with spaces, Tmux briefly displays an error "Usage: rename-window [-t target-window] new-name" and the window retains its current name. Entering a window name without spaces works fine.
Similarly, the window name cannot be set to an empty string - this results in the same error message. This seems to be a regression of #1224352. byobu 5.35-0ubuntu1 and 5.68-0ubuntu1~raring (latter from ppa:byobu/ppa) Ubuntu 13.04 "Raring Ringtail" ** Affects: byobu (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to byobu in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1264910 Title: Tmux backend can't handle spaces in window name To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/byobu/+bug/1264910/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
