Public bug reported: I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 dev with irqbalance 1.0.6-2 and using "dpkg- reconfigure -f noninteractive irqbalance" will show the following output:
irqbalance stop/waiting irqbalance start/running, process 18665 But interestingly the stop message is written to stdout while the start message is written to stderr. I think it would make more sense to write both to the same stream (for example cron is writing his stop and start message to stdout). ** Affects: irqbalance (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to irqbalance in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1283600 Title: irqbalance is writing to the wrong stream on dpkg-reconfigure To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/irqbalance/+bug/1283600/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
