** Description changed: Binary package hint: libapache2-mod-php5 * Restarting web server apache2 apache2: Syntax error on line 185 of /etc/apache2/apache2.conf: Syntax error on line 1 of /etc/apache2/mods- enabled/php5.load: API module structure 'php5_module' in file /usr/lib/apache2/modules/libphp5.so is garbled - expected signature 41503232 but saw 32320000 - perhaps this is not an Apache module DSO, or was compiled for a different Apache version? Looks like the new libphp5.so is not compiled properly. This was working well until last week. After I did an upgrade, the apache2 server won't restart. System is an iMac G3 B&W (1GB RAM) running 8.04 server, LAMP, OpenSSH, and Postfix. (Posted in Ubuntu Apple Forums, too) http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=6920141&posted=1#post6920141 (Bug author is willing to test fixes. Please contact!) + + Also, this appears to be related to the php5-xmlrpc extension. Without + this extension, the apache2 server seems to work fine.
