I recently ran afoul of PHP bug https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=66987,
which causes a segfault when deallocating resources having used
Fileinfo. This effectively makes Fileinfo useless.

I upgraded PHP to v5.5.12 using Ondrej's PPA, which includes a fix, but
can the fix be backported to the official packages? Or is that against
the Ubuntu packaging policy?

** Affects: php5 (Ubuntu)
