Sorry, your results are puzzling. You have cgmanager installed, yet the log shows lxc is not using it. You are starting the container as root, but lxc not using the proper cgroup path for root ("/lxc/<container>").
Could you please post the configuration file for the container? Could you do sudo lxc-create -t download -n new1 -- -d download -r trusty -a amd64 sudo lxc-start -n new1 -l trace -o new1.out and let is know if that worked, or, if it did not, upload new.1out? Also, please create the file /etc/default/cgmanager and insert the line cgmanager_opts="--debug" Then do "sudo stop cgmanager; sudo start cgmanager", do sudo lxc-start -n varnish-http-proxy -l trace -o debug2.out and append both debug2.out and the file /var/log/upstart/cgmanager.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to lxc in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1335418 Title: Can't start conteneur after update 12.04 > 14.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxc/+bug/1335418/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
