looking at the patches, the require mm-ctl to be installed on the build
machine.   When I type 'mm-ctl' on the command line on my viivd laptop,
command-not-found does not know of any package which would supply it.

So adding these patches to libvirt, right now, would not give you the
functionality.  Installing whatever package provides mmctl on your
target machine would *not* suffice, because the path to it needs to have
been detected by AC_PATH_PROG at build time.
