This stuff should be fixed by this init: /etc/init.d/libnss-ldap
it runs special "/usr/sbin/nssldap-update-ignoreusers" script only on reboot. This script adds exceptions for system users. Hangs appear when your systemd was not rebooted correctly or by power loss. I can recommend you to add this script into cron job. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to libnss-ldap in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1024475 Title: libnss-ldap causes boot hang on 12.04 precise, 14.04 trusty To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libnss-ldap/+bug/1024475/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
