This isn't a bug, nor a problem with the package. Something else is listening on port 80, and therefore you can't start nginx. (It by default binds to port 80).
Whatever the other process is (possibly Apache), you should shut it off, run the installation (or apt-get install -f), and then mess with configuration files so things aren't all trying to listen on port 80 at once. ** Changed in: nginx (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to nginx in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1491978 Title: [wily] nginx fails to install on ARM64 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nginx/+bug/1491978/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
