> Is there a work-around or fix for those that get stuck with a bad upgrade?
I got the impression that this was a spurious message, ignored in the postinst, and that the daemon starts anyway? If so, you might have a different bug there. Or if this bug as reported also causes the daemon to fail, then I might have misunderstood. Please could you clarify? @Lars can I leave it with you for a patch to 5.6 please? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to mysql-5.6 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1468185 Title: Function 'innodb' already exists and other errors To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-5.6/+bug/1468185/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
