Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
This looks like an issue with smfpd (Google suggests something to do with Samsung printer drivers?) breaking your system init system, rather than a problem with Docker. You can find pointers to get help for this sort of problem here: http://www.ubuntu.com/support/community Since Ubuntu doesn't ship smfpd and therefore isn't the source of this bug, I'm marking this bug as Invalid in Ubuntu. This helps us to focus on fixing bugs in Ubuntu. If you believe that this is really a bug in Ubuntu, then you may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem, explain why you believe this is a bug in Ubuntu rather than a problem specific to your system, and then change the bug status back to New. ** Changed in: docker.io (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to docker.io in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1525663 Title: package docker.io 1.6.2~dfsg1-1ubuntu4 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/docker.io/+bug/1525663/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
