** Description changed: Please merge nginx 1.9.9-1 from Debian into Ubuntu. There are multiple packaging changes, which fix bugs or update third-party plugins which need updated. ------ NGINX 1.9.9-0ubuntu1 was uploaded directly to Ubuntu due to Debian dragging their heels with updating the package in Debian. When it became fairly clear that Debian was extremely slow to update, and was almost three months behind Nginx upstream, 1.9.9-0ubuntu1 was uploaded directly to the repositories. The Debian changelog detailing the changes including the new upstream release are as follows: nginx (1.9.9-1) unstable; urgency=medium [ Michael Lustfield ] * debian/nginx-common.nginx.logrotate: + Switching logrotate to 14 days. (Closes: #805322) [ Christos Trochalakis ] * New upstream release (1.9.9). * debian/modules/nginx-lua: + Update nginx-lua to v0.10.0. -- Christos Trochalakis <yati...@ideopolis.gr> Thu, 14 Jan 2016 10:40:35 +0200 Note that of this changelog, the nginx-lua module update and the changes to the logrotate file are the only changes in Debian that are missing from the Ubuntu package currently, and need merged in. ------ Build tests will be underway in https://launchpad.net/~teward/+archive/ubuntu/xenial-buildtests eventually, but build tests outside of my sbuild are still useful. Build tests won't go here until i've made sure it doesn't die in my pristine sbuild chroots. ------ ------ BUILD TESTS =========== Last checked/updated: January 15, 2016 @ 12:28 -0500 teward - Local sbuild Schroots: - * i386: Built Successfully - * amd64: Built Successfully + * i386: Built Successfully + * amd64: Built Successfully PPA tests: - * i386: Built Successfully - * amd64: Built Successfully - * armhf: In Progress - + * i386: Built Successfully + * amd64: Built Successfully + * armhf: In Progress RUNTIME TESTS (using PPA) ========================= Clean Install: - * Installs: - * Runs: + * Installs: + * Runs: Upgrade Install (from 1.9.9-0ubuntu1): - * Upgrades: - * Runs: + * Upgrades: Yes + * Runs: Yes
