Public bug reported:

ssh-copy-id fails to parse command line arguements in certain
situations. In this case I tried to specify my user name using ssh's -l
arguement.

d...@dak-tp:~$ ssh-copy-id -ltest host.name
ssh: Could not resolve hostname umask 077; test -d .ssh || mkdir .ssh ; cat >>
