Could you confirm that it used to work for all clients and stopped working
recently for Vista and W7 ?
Do you know any specific windows update that might have broken those specific
clients ?
Any chance you could try a Samba server on 9.10 or Lucid (3.4.x) to see if it's
affected as well ?
