I think this bug also causes the virt-manager configuration of a virtual network with forwarding to fail:
Host config -> Virtual networks -> Create a new virtual network -> Connecting to physical network -> Forwarding to physical network -> Destination:"Any physical device" Destination is a drop down that should list physical devices, but there are no physical devices listed there.
