You have been subscribed to a public bug:
this is a corruption of data (most of time big ones, 300M files) which happens
randomly , sometimes, the file got via a ftp client is wrong (CRC) though the
file is ok on disk on the server.
A ssh or vsftp transfer give the right file.
>From my point of view, the error occurs only when i use the ftp server,
say vsftpd 2.0.6

orsftp). Help needed!
