Hey Guys, Thanks a lot deleting the ftp* user resolved this issue. The users are added as a part of pureadmin gui installation, I guess.
I am not sure whether this thread will help in address another issue I have related to DVD burn on Lucid. Is there a common tool that can grab all the relevant info for you. Besides strace/message did not give much info about this issue as the linux freezes completely and hard reboot is the only solution.
