In my custom python scripts using libvirt python module and using the virsh I can't set max memory size, yet in virt-manager it 'appears' to work.. virsh # setmaxmem AVIRTUALBOX 786000 error: Unable to change MaxMemorySize error: this function is not supported by the connection driver: virDomainSetMaxMemory I guess to reproduce just attempt to setmaxmem of a virtual machine as above.
