Thanks for reporting this bug, and helping to make Ubuntu better. Based on the VarLogDistupgradeApttermlog.gz content, it looks like your /etc/postfix/main.cf contains lines which belong in your /etc/postfix/master.cf. If you don't yet have any local customizations,, then the easiest fix might be to
apt-get purge postfix apt-get install postfix to clear out the erroneous configs and create new ones. Please let us know if this is not an option, or if this doesn't work. ** Changed in: postfix (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: postfix (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to postfix in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/686343 Title: package postfix 2.6.5-3 failed to install/upgrade: -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
