Public bug reported: Binary package hint: munin
I've upgraded my munin-node instance on my OpenVZ hardware node to 1.4.5-1 from Debian testing, but this caused the list of services to be empty (via "telnet localhost 4949", then "list"). Downgrading to 1.4.4-1~blueyedppa2 (basically a backport of 1.4.4-1 from Debian). There are plugins installed (quite a lot), and I can run them manually using munin-run. ** Affects: munin Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Affects: munin (Ubuntu) Importance: Medium Status: Triaged ** Affects: munin (Debian) Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Changed in: munin (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: munin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Bug watch added: www.munin-monitoring.org/ #952 http://www.munin-monitoring.org/ticket/952 ** Also affects: munin via http://www.munin-monitoring.org/ticket/952 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #609241 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=609241 ** Also affects: munin (Debian) via http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=609241 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Summary changed: - Empty list of plugins/services (case issue) + Empty list of plugins/services with hostname containing uppercase letters -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to munin in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/699967 Title: Empty list of plugins/services with hostname containing uppercase letters -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
