the dpkgTerminalLog.txt shows things like:
dbconfig-common: bacula-director-mysql configure: trying again.
dbconfig-common: writing config to
/etc/dbconfig-common/bacula-director-mysql.conf
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password:
YES).
unable to connect to mysql server.
error encountered creating user:
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password:
YES)

Do you have an idea on what might have made bacula unable to access
mysql ? Perhaps you changed the mysql password or disabled password
login for root?
