Public bug reported: Just following the instructions to set up an email server using 10.04 LTS... Entered the command 'sudo apt-get install dovecot-imapd dovecot-pop3d' to see numerous failures. Postfix seems to work using telnet but 'cause I don't know what's what right now it is difficult to help with the problem report. Sorry folks! The machine has limited memory (~0.63G) which I suspect might be an issue. Synaptic shows various dovecot elements installed including -common. So this might simply be an exception handling event to manage the previous installation.
