I understand, and appreciate your effort.

But, this situation involves a production server. I just cannot depend
on personal projects on it.

So, a "fix on natty" doesn't solves it here, as I will not move my
system to natty.

If the decision is just don't solve the problem on Lucid, OK, it's a
decision, and I'll have to cope with it.
