Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: samba

Keeps complaining the samba has failed to install/upgrade properly. I
reinstalled samba from scratch and the problem disappeared. It again
showed up when i installed the update on the next day. Even though it
says it failed to install, it seems to me that I can connect to my
ubuntu folders from windows machines. Weirdly, the mapped drive in
windows appears in red (even after refreshing) although I can connect to
the mapped drive. Seems samba is messed up with 11.04?
