It looks like the bacula-director-mysql package was unable to access the MySQL database instance you are trying to install bacula against. You will need to enter the root password for the mysql server instance during configuration (you should have been prompted todo this) - if this is incorrect you would get this type of error. If you don't know the password for the mysql server database you can re- configure the root password by running the following command: sudo dpkg-reconfigure mysql-server-5.1 You can then attempt the re-installation of bacula by running: sudo apt-get -f install Please update this bug report if this resolves your issue.
