Thanks for taking the time to submit this bug report.
The logs show that it failed to start because /etc/resolv.conf was not a
symbolic link. To work around that, please do:
sudo cp -a /etc/resolv.conf /etc/resolv.conf.orig
sudo ln -s /etc/resolv.conf.orig /etc/resolv.conf
Then complete the upgrade. Please let us know if this does not fix the
problem for you.
