Geez, isn' t there a META issue function in launchpad? nmbd doesn' t startup since 9.04, and now trying to really fix it, without rc.local delayed work arounds, I found a fix for each version of Ubuntu server. Bugs since 2009.
Anyone know why the samba init.d got split up into smbd and nmbd?
