Actually, this was *not* by design. If the /etc/default/libvirt-bin file exists it is supposed to be sourced. That is supposed to be the case at least until the upstart config override files are supported.
This was actually a bug. The file must be re-sourced in each upstart config section. ** Changed in: libvirt (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged => In Progress ** Changed in: libvirt (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Serge Hallyn (serge-hallyn) ** Changed in: libvirt (Ubuntu) Importance: Low => High -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to libvirt in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/823638 Title: Please put comment in /etc/default/libvirt-bin or remove it from the .deb To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/+bug/823638/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
