I wonder if this is what I'm now seeing on Oneiric; I run a squid on my
desktop so that it and my vms and my laptop share apt-get
update's/upgrades.  SInce somewhere in Oneiric dev cycle I'm having to
restart squid before it starts responding.

Squid's access log has:
