Public bug reported:

I am on an Ubuntu NODEZERO version with a MacBook Pro and I have a lot
of USB equipment attached for making music. This is a brand new install
of an older Ubuntu still configuring/updating. Thanks for making Ubuntu
an escape from OS X HELL !!! I also was in the middle of testing Knoppix
6.7.1 on the Virtual Box when it crunched.
