Public bug reported:

I'm unable to start lxc instances:

> sudo lxc-start --name precise-dotdee
lxc-start: failed to mount rootfs
lxc-start: failed to setup rootfs for 'precise-dotdee'
lxc-start: failed to setup the container
lxc-start: invalid sequence number 1. expected 2
lxc-start: failed to spawn 'precise-dotdee'

Extract from kernel log file:

Mar  6 08:45:46 hendrix kernel: [ 6826.992992] type=1400
audit(1331023546.700:69): apparmor="DENIED" operation="mount"
parent=15766 profile="/usr/bin/lxc-start" name="/usr/lib/lxc/root/"
pid=15783 comm="lxc-start" src_name="/var/lib/lxc/precise-
dotdee/rootfs/" flags="rw, rbind"

Disabling the profile for lxc-start works around the issue.
