Thanks for reporting this bug. The problem is (I believe) that lxc-unshare isn't properly handling the case where no arguments are specified. As a workaround, do
lxc-unshare -s NETWORK /bin/bash and you'll get a root prompt in the new namespace. ** Changed in: lxc (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: lxc (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: lxc (Ubuntu) Importance: High => Medium ** Tags added: bitesize ** Changed in: lxc (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Triaged -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to lxc in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1011603 Title: LXC-unshare network namespace segfaulting To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxc/+bug/1011603/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
