Hi Jan Thanks for taking the time to report this bug in Ubuntu.
It looks like your previous installation of mysql was in a very inconsistent state. Please can you try purging mysql-server (rather than just removing) and then re-installing which will clear the record of any previous configuration files: sudo apt-get purge mysql-server\* sudo apt-get install mysql-server Hopefully this will resolve your issue. Marking 'Invalid' for the time being; if you still believe this is a bug please set back to 'New'. ** Changed in: mysql-5.5 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to mysql-5.5 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1042901 Title: package mysql-server-5.5 5.5.24-0ubuntu0.12.04.1 failed to install/upgrade: podproces instalovaný post-installation skript vrátil chybový status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-5.5/+bug/1042901/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
