Public bug reported: If something happens and you delete the rabbitmq user 'maas_workers' or the vhost '/mass_workers' and then run 'dpkg-reconfigure' to fix things.
However, the test in postinst is 'if user exists: change_user_password() else: create user, create vhost, set permissions on vhost". Which means that if you delete the user, then it tries to create a vhost that may already exist. Or if you delete the vhost, then it doesn't recreate it if the user exists. ** Affects: maas (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: maas (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to maas in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1067332 Title: 'dkpg-reconfigure' conflates user existing for vhost existing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/maas/+bug/1067332/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
