Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.

I have reproduced the problem on raring and prepared an updated package.

I first hoped that "Now builds on Linux-3.7" from the 8.3.15 changelog
entry would fix this problem, but I had the same problem.

Then I tried 8.4.3 (latest upstream), and this seems to work fine
(except for the warning that the kernel module is at 8.4.2).

I've uploaded my test 8.4.3 package build to my experimental PPA
(https://launchpad.net/~racb/+archive/experimental/). Please could you
test the package from here and check that it is fully functional?

Should I be using 8.4.2 instead of 8.4.3 to get the version to match the
raring kernel? If so, do we know that the raring kernel's version won't
end up bumped before raring's release?
