Thanks for reporting this bug. The lxc installation and upgrades failed because of the lxc-net upstart job not starting. I notice you are running a custom kernel, perhaps with selinux enabled, which may or may not be affecting this.
Could you please try manually doing ifconfig -a route -n brctl show sudo start lxc-net and showing the results of those, as well as anything found in /var/log/upstart/lxc-net* ? status incomplete importance medium ** Changed in: lxc (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: lxc (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to lxc in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1133092 Title: package lxc 0.8.0~rc1-4ubuntu39.12.10.1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxc/+bug/1133092/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
