Public bug reported: As described in http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.networking.rabbitmq.general/18293, rabbitmq fails to start if /etc/hosts does not contain a line causing the hostname to resolve to 127.0.0.1. In other words, /etc/hosts needs to have a line like this if the host in question is named "dopey".
