I've grown weary of hitting every database nail with MySQL and every web project nail with Drupal.. I love them both and they have served valiantly in a number of cases. Looking for alternatives, I stumbled upon Apache CouchDB. It comes up easily on Jaunty and although a bit "young and tender", I find it seductively attractive. I'd like to hear of end-user experiences and from those who think it might be a basis for a next generation CMS.
