I have to say synfig is a cool project, but it seems to be still very
experimental. I can't think of anything one can do with synfig that
isn't achievable with much more flexibility in blender. If removing
synfig from the the repository is an easy fix, i for one wouldn't mind
it....

Just my cent about the issue...
