Ubuntu 7.10 (and Studio) ffmpeg can't grab desktop to the movie as default. You have to build ffmpeg all over again, I have a little howto for that. http://forum.ubuntu-fi.org/index.php?topic=14568.0 And checkinstall is nice little tool, too. I have compiled these programs from svn/source to a deb-file with checkinstall. Kino 1.2.0 - checkinstall OK. Dvgrab 3.1 - checkinstall OK. ffmpeg svn - checkinstall OK. Rosegarden 1.7 - checkisntall OK. And here is example with ffmpeg/x11grab/flv. [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/Bin/ffmpeg$ ./ffmpeg -vcodec flv -f x11grab -s 1680x1050 -i :0.0 /home/asmok/Videot/out.flv -> http://www.arkki.info/wordpress/?p=15 Best Regards Asmo Koskinen. -- Ubuntu-Studio-users mailing list Ubuntu-Studio-users@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-studio-users
