To bring this back on topic, I suspect that there is a opportunity here,
especially since I am still using 8.10 with an RT kernel on my laptop.
I am also interested in maintaining a kernel for the current LTS, since
my desktop DAW is based on Hardy currently.

It will be a couple of weeks before I move to 9.04 but I plan to be more
active then.
