i think i mis-read this message.. if the cam worked in 10.04, and not in
12.04, its likely something that *can* be supported in 12.04. i would just
use 10.04 if all is working well... "if it aint broke" as they say... the
kernel can become bloated if drivers are kept in it, and the support for
your device could have been removed. you can always try different kernels,
or build your own with support for your device, or add support to the
current kernel. i *always* suggest trying the live CD's before installing
to get an idea of hardware support.
