For same versions of a package within a Ubuntu Studio release it depends to the name e.g. 3.4.1234-1 vs 3.4.1234-2 or 1:3.4-1234-1 vs 2:3.4-1234-1. I don't now what happens when doing an upgrade for the Ubuntu Studio version, likely it even would downgrade.
