Hi Auro.

If you need to take you on camera, It can be helpful UVC standards camera.
but, If you want to use just skype app, you can install it on ubuntu studio.you 
need to skype page, and download skype for deb (Debian), and install it.if you 
want to use Google chat, you can use it on web browser.

Both way (Skype app on Ubuntu Studio, and Google Chat on browser), I'm in usual.

My laptop has some problem so I have to use my desktop. Due to covid 19, my
